My thesis project explores the relationship between craft, labor, and contemporary graphic design through the creation of OOO Press, an independent publishing structure operating between studio practice, print shop, and installation. Rooted in self-publishing and material experimentation, the project investigates how analog production methods—such as relief printmaking, bookbinding, and constructed display systems—can exist alongside digital workflows to create more tactile and embodied forms of design practice.

Presented as the grand opening of a functioning atelier, the exhibition transforms the gallery into both a workspace and archive. Custom-built structures display artist books, prints, process materials, tools, and ephemera, emphasizing process, repetition, and physical labor as central components of the work. Rather than treating design as a purely visual outcome, the thesis positions making itself as a critical form of communication—one shaped by touch, production, circulation, and time.

The project ultimately asks how contemporary designers can reclaim slowness, materiality, and craft within increasingly digital systems of production, while using publishing as a framework for experimentation, documentation, and collective exchange.
