Where the Feilds Lean In is an artist book housed in a hand-crafted container, inviting the viewer to explore the subtle beauty and quiet narratives of the rural South. This container holds a poem and collection of photo postcards providing a raw and intimate portrayal of the region’s landscape, architecture, and people. Interwoven with these postcards is a compartment holding keepsakes that serve as fragments of memory and place, keepsakes are unique to each edition.
Assembled under the instruction of Amira Hegazy. The photographs are a mixed collection of Timothy Hursley’s work and Junior Pacheco’s personal archive.
